No 3.5mm Headphone Jack:
Hemmerstoffer says that the Google copied the Apple thoughts. Manufacturers removed the 3.5mm headphone jack for both the smartphones. Finally, the phones are ready to enter the market with just a single USB Type-C port. Users have to use the adapters or any other Type-C headphones, or they can go wireless.
During the last year, 2016 Google grabbed the attention of the people by embedding the 3.5mm jack. Now it makes no sense, and the users are not getting the reason behind the jack removal.
Now it lost the look of iPhone. However, its competitors Samsung’s Galaxy S and Galaxy Note ranges feature the 3.5mm headphone jack. It seems Google took the wrong decision.
The presence of Bulky Camera:
From the past few years, Google is the expert in delivering the best smartphone cameras on the market. Now it introduced a camera which has the flat finish. It looks bulky when we compare it with the Samsung’s Galaxy and Apple’s iPhones.
Hemmerstoffer said that both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones have the bulging cameras at the back side of the phones. These new changes not only make the device to look sad but also makes the phones harder. Meanwhile, they are harder to use as it has the flat surface. Manufacturers did not design the camera ring properly. So, it will create dents and scratches on the surface when we put the phone down.
What made the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones to have the flush cameras:
It is due to the absence of the optical image stabilization (OIS) module. Google made the camera movement to look like a gyroscope. It is good for the photos, but customers have to suffer while shooting the videos in low. So according to the leaks tar, manufacturers included the OIS to the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. It resulted in the creation of the bump.
If it is not the case, then the modifications will have no meaning.
As Hemmerstoffer is very confident in explaining the information, these issues may collapse the customer’s expectations. However, Google had the excellent reasons to explain the scenarios.
